Once Again Bill Clinton Shows He's Not A Man Of Principle

Count on Bill Clinton to reject, once again, principle in favor of appeasement. He did so this week by not standing up to Islamists in behalf of Free Speech, instead tossing over this principle in favor of "understanding": the homily and tool of the professional "negotiating" class. |

The Republicans lost big. I'm a Republican -- and yet I'm not devastated. For the first time, it's not a "personal" loss. Why? |

We're still waiting …
Posted: September 25, 20071:00 a.m. Eastern
The news networks CNN, FOX and MSNBC, who ignored America's views and refused to cover the Values Voter Presidential Debate, broadcast every word of Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Columbia University speech unedited yesterday, just one week later.
It's too bad, because some of the questions (and answers) of the presidential candidates were far more important than the propaganda from a terrorist who wants Israel and America wiped off the map. Questions like that of Rabbi Aryeh Spero of the Jewish Action Alliance: There is no question that jihadists have as their goal the harming of America and its citizens. What would your strategy be to protect our streets, our people and our American way of life from the dangerous explosive growth of radical Islam in America and around the world?
But the answers given weren't "bring a dictator to school" and broadcast every word he says. See the video answers streamed courtesy of the American Family Association. Rabbi Spero added, "Can we really expect the no-show candidates to face world leaders like Iranian President Ahmadinejad and Osama bin Laden when they're afraid to answer questions from Phyllis Schlafly?"

Civilized societies establish taboos as signs and warnings that certain actions are beyond acceptance or even contemplation.
Freedom loving societies transmit historic wisdoms that bespeak the necessity for boundaries to man’s lust or savagery.
Mature and responsible individuals know that certain elementary public virtues must be honored if any given society is to survive.
Hollywood seems not to understand this... |

Every time Islamists somewhere in the world blow up civilians, kill innocent babies or church goers, behead people, or organize threatening protest mobs -- which is now everyday -- Islamic groups in America warn about and scold us for any backlashes that might occur against Moslems or mosques. They forewarn us against criticizing Islam. They even indict us when we wonder why there is no public outcry by Islamic "civil rights" groups or imams against what is being done in the name of Islam as well as the selected teachings in the Koran that justify all this violence. Any criticism is labeled Islamo-phobia and racist. |

As has been revealed, “Mr. Green”, Al Gore lives in a home in Nashville that consumes 20 times the energy than a normal home. Curious that the man decrying fuel use as the major contributor to global warming would absolve himself from the guilt he is foisting on the rest of us. |

A just-released study by an Israeli Commission finds, among other things, that Ehud Olmert acted indecisively during the war in Lebanon. Indeed, Olmert, Israel's weak-minded and liberal Prime Minister, stood in the way of his army winning a decisive victory over the Hezbollah terrorist group.Let this be a lesson for us here in America. |

Liberalism Is Philosophically Un-American

Three of the distinguishing features of our historic American outlook are the emphasis of (1) right over wrong, (2) liberty, and (3) judging a person as an individual, not simply as a member of a group.
Socialist societies, in contrast, have a different vision. They wish to engineer equality at the expense of liberty. Instead of allowing societies to evolve based on the merits of the individuals within society, they have a pre-determined vision of how the “utopian” society must look. They accomplish their end game through sweeping moves of social engineering designed not for the benefit of the individual but, instead, the group or class. For them, societies are perfected through class/group struggle. What matters in class struggle is not right vs. wrong but elevating the weak class and downsizing the powerful. Merit means nothing, nor does the specific situation. |
