The New York Times published an Op-ed, Saturday Jan. 14, which once again confirms what many of us already know about certain segments within Manhattan's liberal circles, namely, their bigotry and racism against Whites -- especially if those whites are too patriotic and too Christian. |

By Rabbi Aryeh Spero
More than in any other previous primary, Republican candidates are being vigorously questioned as to their conservative bonafides. This is understandable given the heart-ache and disappointment with the previous presidential candidate, John McCain. It seemed that McCain faced the nation as a Republican candidate running against the Republican party and spent more time bashing Republicans, conservatives and President Bush than did his opponent Barack Obama. None of us want a repeat of that. Thus, the severe scrutiny each candidate is facing. |

Moslems honor New Years by killing Christians

Moslems in Egypt celebrated New Years yesterday by killing families of Coptic Christians involved in Church services. I am sure that there will be no gathering of thousands with candles in the city squares of Europe protesting against this mass murder. But you could be darn sure they would be gathering if Christians or Israelis were suspected of harming Moslems. Why the difference in reaction?
Because these protests have nothing to do at all with concern about human life and dignity. If they were motivated by such righteousness, people in the West would be protesting the daily murder all over the world of Christians and Jews by Moslems. No, this has only to do with showing " how good and caring a person I am ". The fact is that no one gets brownie points if he shows concern about memebers of his own group -- that is viewed as simply tribal. But if you show concern about people outside your group, well, then, you are considered a truly sensitive person. It's all about showing off to others, not about concern over injustice.
Unfortunately for the Christian and Jewish West, this sentiment of feeling good about oneself and showing "how wonderful I and my society is", is more important than justice itself. Indeed, the more someone is an enemy, the more brownie points we get for taking up their cause -- it shows how absolutely "large is one's heart", full of social conscience. That's why the West is indifferent to itself.
Ironically and self-destructively, the West is more concerned about protecting Islam than its own Christianity and Judaism and cherishes Moslem life while being highly indifferent to the plight of its own people.
It is suicide, born of a culture in utter confusion. Truth be told, many have lost interest in their own history and mistakenly think we'd be just as well off, even bettter, under a non-Western, non Judeo-Christian system of Islam. They are fools. And ignorant. We can't allow our future to be determined by these multiculturalists.

TRIAL IN NYC INVITES ESPIONAGE

Attorney General Eric Holder’s unprecedented decision to try the 9/11 terrorists in a civil court, and in New York City, provides an opening for espionage all across the city by Islamists who will be acting and posing as journalists with all the entitlements and opportunities afforded the press.
Many hundreds of Islamists undoubtedly will be given press passes by their countries and will enter our country without the normal background scrutiny. During their extended period here to cover a trial that will be prolonged by the terrorists’ attorneys, the "journalists" will no doubt fan out across all of the city’s boroughs, taking photos, mapping out every nook and cranny, and other forms of reconnaissance, and be able to do so under the cover of freedom of the press.
Assuredly, hundreds of these "journalists" will find lodging in every borough and in the city’s adjacent counties of Westchester and Nassau, and in New Jersey, and will use their stay here to cultivate and propagandize for radical Islam and act as face-to-face agents networking and bringing together the area’s more radical groups.
The Attorney General’s decision is dangerous and appears to place greater emphasis on how terrorists are treated than the safety of the American people and their families. Mr. Holder: you still have time to change your decision and do right by the American people. |
